Starting in 1981, the founders of PT. MULTI MORTAR became the pioneer in establishing the first light brick factory in Indonesia, known as CELCON. In line with the growing development in Indonesia and the demand for Celcon lightweight bricks, in 1997 the shareholders collaborated with experts from Australia to create instant cement under the name CELCONMIX by improving the quality of service to consumers. At the beginning of the introduction of instant cement products in the Indonesian market, there were challenges, especially because people were not familiar with this product.

However, with the hard work of our team in educating the market, finally instant cement products are starting to be accepted by the Indonesian market. Due to the increasing demand for instant cement, in 2012 the shareholders decided to establish a new factory with modern technology machines and greater production capabilities.

CELCONMIX also changed its name to MULTI MORTAR. MULTI MORTAR will always strive to be a reliable instant cement producer with a spirit of continuous improvement to improve product quality, create a complete product range, and also provide the best service for customer satisfaction.
